A custom-designed website that combines a neo-noir theme with eye-catching functionality, a bespoke seven-point ‘eye’ logo, and highly stylised imagery to capture audience attention and draw them directly into the website.
By combining a sophisticated, high-end look with bespoke copy that cuts to the core of the diverse range of services offered, we immediately positioned TES as a legitimate force in a highly competitive market.

Founded by Grobstein Teeple’s long-standing Global Head of Cybersecurity and Risk Management, Erik Rasmussen, Total Executive Security (TES) LLC provides a diverse range of protection services to high-net-worth and high-profile individuals across Southern California.
With an eye on providing protective services throughout the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, TES is helmed by a team of highly experienced security experts drawn from the Secret Service, Central Intelligence Agency, and armed services.
The personal protective services industry in California is worth an estimated $AU15 billion per year, making it a highly competitive space in a region replete with high-net-wealth individuals.
Our challenge was to produce an on-brand, expertly written microsite on time and within a limited budget – one that positioned TES as a legitimate force in the build-up to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Competitor research indicated that while personal protective services are a multi-billion dollar industry in California, many practitioners relied on websites that were designed many years ago and demonstrably out of date.
Utilising an emotionally resonant strapline and opting to visually represent the ‘all-seeing’ nature of TES, we designed a seven-point eye logo that speaks directly to the 360-degree protection the firm provides.
The website’s unique selling point is its zoom function—which draws the audience through the seven-point eye logo and into the website from the very first scroll.
Looking to elevate the concept of noir and pay homage to the history of detective work in Los Angeles, we opted for a mid-century font and colour scheme of predominantly red, white, and black.
Parallax scrolls throughout the website allow users to seamlessly navigate a range of menus, while a combination of stock photography and AI-created images adds visual context and locates the audience squarely in Southern California, while also referencing the high-tech nature of the surveillance industry.
Dotted throughout are references to the firm’s ‘visionary protection’ strapline, which also helped inform custom-written copy that speaks to TES’ hallmarks of strength, vision, and protection.
We also allotted space for a range of professional certifications—an important inclusion that adds an extra layer of legitimacy to a firm looking.
An FAQs section answered any questions that weren’t immediately addressed in the website’s menu of five distinct services—with the entire website adopting a sleek, minimal look and feel.
