As a newly founded investment banking firm in the competitive US market, Covitus knew it needed to start with a bang—without sacrificing the depth of knowledge and sophistication at the heart of its brand promise.

Focused Finance was the concept for brand copy, visual identity, and website—a direct, understated, and powerfully promising approach. With brand, collateral and website completed in just 4 months, Covitus has impressed its clientele of high net worth individuals and company owners.

Insight

For Covitus, new leads were were assured through a sister company with offices across the US—a flying start given that investment banking services are rarely (if ever) sought through Google searches.

So our job was to create an immediate experience of brand immersion that unified copy and visual concepts into a clear, competitive value proposition—while communicating a top-tier brand position.

Execution

Conceptually, any disruptive or shock value was off the table—Covitus needed impact and refinement all at once. We worked with founders to distill the essence of the key feature and USP of their service—focus.

Brand story copy unpacked concepts like sharpness, cutting through, and relationship, while secondary strapline executions homed in on putting client interest at the centre of unwavering and unyielding focus, and client deals getting the attention they deserve.

Our design team backed these simple, powerful copy concepts with the boldness and confidence of a top-tier brand. High-impact, sophisticated visual design invoking luxury and quality.

Lush, abstract textures and details in a dark monochrome palette would feel at home alongside global luxury brands on LA’s Rodeo Drive.

The brandmark framed focus as core, while referencing elements from the sister brand, but without ever over-reaching into co-branding.

Our website design and development emphasised dynamism, sophistication and simplicity, with bold visuals and striking colours. Movement while scrolling brought to life the dark palette, making experiential the brand promise of intense focus.
